Osun election: Portable congratulates Adeleke despite endorsing Oyetola

Music artiste Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has congratulated the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party Ademola Adeleke, uncle of pop star Davido, on his announcement as winner of the Osun governorship election.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) returning officer for the poll Prof. Oluwatoyin Ogundipe said Adeleke got a total of 403,371 votes while the incumbent Governor Ggboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress got 375,027 votes.

Shortly after the declaration, Portable who drummed support for APC candidate, Oyetola, before the election, took to Instagram to congratulate Adeleke.

“Congratulations Kinimah Akoi. Ademola Adeleke Imole tide,” he wrote.

The 27-year-old added the soundtrack he recorded for Adeleke in 2018 to his congratulatory message.

Reacting to the singer’s post in the comment section, media personality N6 asked Portable if he has switched camp so soon. He wrote, “You don cross carpet already.”

“Portable no get enemy,” socialite Obi Cubana also wrote.

Recall that Portable took to Instagram to call out Davido after the latter unfollowed him for endorsing the candidate of the ruling part.
