L.A.X completes national youth service

Damilola Afolabi, the singer better known as L.A.X, has completed his one year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme.

The singer uploaded a picture of himself and a friend as they joined other batch b stream 1 corps members at the Lagos orientation camp in Iyana Ipaja to Instagram on Thursday.

The 24-year-old, who recently released a song titled ‘Call My Baby, tagged the picture, “done serving my country! Now we can drop the fire album on them.”

After graduating from the University of Manchester in 2014, L.A.X he took to social media to share a picture of his final thesis, writing “Finally done!”

The singer started music in secondary school at Turkish International School, Lagos where he formed a music group called Flyboiz, releasing a single titled ‘Busy Body’.

He later signed a deal with Starboy Entertainment on August 20, 2013, which resulted in hit singles ‘Caro’ and ‘Ginger’ both featuring Wizkid.

The two songs gained massive airplay and won him awards.
