I need a husband like D’banj to take me shopping – Toke Makinwa

Celebrity on-air personality Toke Makinwa is in urgent need of a husband to take her shopping.

The shopaholic made the declaration when she ran into music star D’banj and his wife at a shopping mall.

In a video she posted to Instagram Story on Wednesday, the 34-year-old said she ran into her “brother shopping for his wife.”

When D’banj complimented her for having the “body of life”, Toke replied, “forget the body, emi na fe oko to ma gbe mi lo shopping (I want a husband that will take me shopping).

The singer then prayed that a husband will come along to take her shopping in 2019, to which she said “he had better come”.

Toke became a trending topic on Monday for saying she thought the words of Chinko Ekun’s song ‘Able God’ were Ebuka.

Twitter troll accused her of stylishly hitting at Big Brother Naija host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.

Toke recently joked about sharing 2faceIdibia with his wife Annie if she does not get her own man by 2019.
