Former Big Brother Naija housemate Ese Eriata has questioned celebrities who are trailing the part of Davido by posting their bank details on social media, asking for one million naira from fans and friends.
Eriata in an Instagram story on Wednesday said that Davido got money from his friends because he was a key player in the growth of their careers, she also questioned why some celebrities who could have done their own challenge before now are suddenly doing it after the Davido’s own went viral.
“Wait! Is it not funny how everyone confidently posts acct details because Davido did it. In case you don’t know let me tell you something you need to know. Davido has helped a lot of people and for the first time, he wants to know how far people can go to show him love.
“Just say you need money and your followers should send you money. You had all the time to post your acct details, why do it now? Impact in people’s life before you can think you deserve to expect so much from people. Have you ever been someone’s breakthrough?” she asked.
After Davido’s one million naira challenge went viral on social media, celebrities like Mercy Aigbe, Dorathy Bachor, Teni and Ijeoma Grace Agu started their own challenge, while some of them posted their bank details, others called on their friends to support them with one million naira.
