Twin brothers of the defunct music group P-Square, Paul Okoye and Peter Okoye, have reunited to celebrate their 40th birthday after resolving their misunderstanding.

A video that went viral on Wednesday shows the excited brothers exchanging pleasantries and having a good time with families and friends including their former manager and brother Jude Okoye.

On Thursday, the duo uploaded a photo of themselves rocking the same outfit on Instagram as they wished each other a happy birthday.

“Happy special birthday to us,” they wrote.

Peter’s wife Lola Omotayo Okoye and Paul’s ex-wife Anita Okoye wished the twins a happy birthday.

Fellow celebrities like Obi Cubana, Kemi Adetiba, Padita Agu, Adunni Ade, Dorathy Bachor, Ejine Okoroafor, Georgina Onuoha and Onyii Alexx also wished them a happy birthday in the comment section of their posts.

Rumours of their reconciliation were confirmed after the duo followed each other back on Instagram.

P-Square rose to fame in 2001 after they won the Grab Da Mic talent show sponsored by Benson & Hedges.

That was achieved under the guidance of the late entertainment promoter Bayo Odusami, popularly known as Howie T.

The twins later made their older brother Jude manager, leading eventually to creative and personal differences.

P-Square had a series of breakups and makeup before they eventually parted ways in 2017 after a physical altercation in the office of their lawyer Festus Keyamo.

Things got so bad that Paul and Jude did not condole with Peter when he lost his father-in-law Oladipo Omotayo in December 2020 and were absent at the funeral in February.
