Prince Uthman, son of Davido’s aide Obama DMW, has penned down a touching tribute to the singer on his 31st birthday.
Prince who is also known as Malik took to Instagram on Tuesday to appreciate Davido for keeping his promise of taking care of him since the death of his father.
Malik said Davido promised to take care of him and the singer has never rejected him.
He wrote: “Dad, I’m writing this from the bottom of my heart, keeping a promise is one of the hardest things in life! You promised to help me since I lost my father. You never rejected me You loved me just the way a father should love his child.
“Every video of us you always saying “my son” Dad my father would be so grateful for all you do for me! love you so much There was a day I was so broken, but when we spoke he didn’t just solve my issue He spoke to me “My son hope you really g0od” These words are so genuine and lovely.”
Speaking further, Obama’s son described Davido as a handsome, talented, humble and kindhearted man whose smile can save a soul.

Obama died in June 2021, after complaining of shortness of breath, reports said he drove himself to a hospital in the Lekki area of Lagos where he eventually died a few hours later.
