Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu on Sunday personally debunked rumour of his death.

Tinubu’s whereabouts has been a matter of public concern following his absence from public events including the first signing of the Peace Accord by presidential candidates in Abuja.

His campaign spokesman Bayo Onanuga had on Saturday said Tinubu was in London “taking a break”. He also discredited a photo which was circulated on social media with claims that Tinubu was sick.

On Sunday, however, Tinubu posted a video of himself on social media doing exercise, stating that he is healthy.

“Many have said I have died; others claim I have withdrawn from the presidential campaign. Well… Nope,” the APC leader said.

“This is the reality: I am strong, I am healthy and I am READY to serve Nigerians from Day One.”

Tinubu’s video had Asake’s hit song ‘Organise’ playing in the background.

Last year, Tinubu spent several months in the United Kingdom where he underwent knee surgery and physiotherapy afterwards.

President Muhammadu Buhari was top on the list of politicians and business people who visited Tinubu in the UK.
