Sanwo-Olu, Fayemi, Dapo Abiodun, others join Tinubu colloquium virtually from Abuja airport

Bad weather on Monday forced some dignitaries from being physically present at the 69th birthday and 12th colloquium of a reverred politician Bola Tinubu holding in Kano.

Some of those affected are governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi; governor of Osun State, Gboyega Oyetola; governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun.

They, however, attended the event virtually at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja as seen in the photos shared by Mr Sanwo-Olu’s chief press secretary Gboyega Akosile.

Sanwo-Olu, on behalf of other governors who joined the colloquium from the airport, extolled Tinubu’s virtues.

He reminded all that true federalism, justice, youth employment are what Tinubu stands for.

The weather also prevented Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila; secretary to the government of the federation, Boss Mustapha; minister of information and culture, Lai Mohammed; and the mnister of interior, Rauf Aregbesola from flying to Kano for the event.

President Muhammadu Buhari, who chairs the colloquium, is also participating in the event virtually.
