Pop singer Teniola Akpata popularly known as Teni has come under criticism on social media after referring to Big Brother Naija star Erica as “Omo Igbo”.
Teni used the phrase in describing Erica in a video she recently made canvassing votes for her favourite Big Brother Naija housemate Laycon who is Yoruba.
Erica was disqualified after her clash with Laycon when it was revealed that the latter had told other housemates she tried to kiss him twice.
Laycon is battling with four other housemates for the grand prize of N85 million. The winner will be announced on Sunday.
