Actor Saidi Balogun is celebrating his son Khalid after completing the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.
The 59-year-old shared photos of Khalid on Instagram on Thursday and congratulated him on the achievement.
“Congratulations to my Son, Nysc Done and Dusted! Alhamdulillah, another milestone reached, Keep Smiling to Success!!” he wrote.
Several colleagues and fans joined him in celebrating Khalid.
Actress Ronke Oshodi Oke wrote, “Congratulations, son.”
Actor Jigan Babaoja commented, “Congratulations, my bro.”
Filmmaker Afeez Owo also wrote, “Congratulations.”
Jarinola added, “Congratulations, Khalid.”
Khalid is the son of Saidi Balogun and actress Faithia Williams, who were formerly married and share two children.
The NYSC completion comes months after Khalid graduated from the University of Lagos with a first class degree in Creative Arts. Faithia had celebrated the achievement on social media, saying she was overwhelmed with joy and gratitude over her son’s success.
Saidi also celebrated the graduation at the time, describing it as a proud moment and thanking God for bringing joy to his family.
