Actress Faithia Williams has stirred reactions after speaking about her relationship with ex-husband Saidi Balogun during an interview with content creator Isbae U.
In the interview, Isbae U asked Faithia why she returned to Saidi after their separation. Responding, the actress dismissed the suggestion that the actor is her ex-husband.
“Why did you go back to your ex, Saidi Balogun?” Isbae U asked.
Faithia replied, “You’re a big fool, sha. Who told you he’s my ex? It’s good, I will tell him when I get home.”
When Isbae U further asked, “Is at home,” Faithia laughed and continued the conversation, leaving many viewers talking online.
The comments have added to ongoing speculation about the pair’s relationship status, especially after their recent public appearances together.
At the premiere of Faithia’s latest movie, the actress and Saidi arrived together alongside one of their sons. The pair also wore matching outfits at the event, drawing attention from guests and fans.
While promoting the movie, Faithia described Saidi as “a veteran powerhouse, filmmaker, director, and screen icon.” She also praised his contribution to the film, calling him “a true legend whose journey from stage to silver screen inspires generations.”
Faithia and Saidi got married in 2000 and had two children together before separating in 2006. Their divorce was finalised in 2014.
