The three minutes, 40 seconds song addresses rappers such as Blaqbonez, MI and others.

DavoLee says in the song that he would surpass what Blaqbonez has achieved, adding that Blaqbonez, born Emeka Akumefule, had reached his peak.

Blaqbonez is signed to 100 Crowns, a hip hop label imprint of Warner Music Group African partner, Chocolate City (record label).

Blaqbonez calls himself the ‘Best Rapper in Africa’. He told The Punch in an interview that the self-acclaimed title was a response to a diss, and that he felt he needed to wake up all other rappers in Nigeria, and meant no disrespect to MI and Vector.

DavoLee, however, was signed into YBNL in 2016.

He is known for his viral cover of ‘Panda’, a hit single by American artiste, Desiigner.

He had a rough time on the streets of Mushin, Lagos, where he hawked pure water, before joining YBNL.
