Olamide, YBNL sign joint venture deal with Empire

Rapper, Olamide, has signed a joint venture deal for his record label, YBNL, with US-based record label, Empire.

Empire Distribution, Records and Publishing Inc. is an American distribution company and record label headquartered in San Francisco, California.

Olamide announced the new deal on Tuesday night via social media which will also include Fireboy and any new signee.

“Happy to announce that YBNL and Empire got a joint venture deal. Myself and Fireboy with any other act I sign next ready to shake the world🌎,” he wrote on Twitter.

In another tweet, Olamide appreciated fans of YBNL for “holding on for so long and believing”, promising to switch things up.

Empire, however, is known to be associated with hip hop music acts like Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q among others.
