Singer Lyta has revealed details about his performance fees, saying he charges N10 million per live show and has at one point earned as much as N30 million from a single appearance.
He made the disclosure during an interview on Peller’s livestream, where he spoke about his earnings from performances and experiences in the music industry.
“I charge N10 Million for shows, the highest amount I’ve made at once is N30 Million,” he said.
The statement has since sparked conversations among fans, with some questioning whether the figures reflect his current standing in the music scene.
Lyta, whose full name is Opeyemi Rahim, gained public attention in 2018 after joining Olamide’s YBNL Nation, where he released the track ‘Time’ featuring Olamide.
His time with the label ended in 2019 following disagreements that led to his exit. He later rose further in popularity after releasing ‘Monalisa’, which became one of his biggest songs and later received an international remix featuring Davido.
In August 2020, Lyta was also linked to Marlian Music after Naira Marley announced his addition to the label. However, reports and subsequent statements suggested the arrangement was not clearly defined as a long term contract, and Lyta later continued his career independently.
Since then, Lyta has continued his music career independently.
