NFF celebrates ex-Super Eagle, Benedict Iroha, on 50th birthday

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has celebrated ex-international, Benedict Iroha, on his 50th birthday.

The federation wished the former Watford defender a happy birthday via a tweet on Friday.

“Happy birthday former @NGSuperEagles wing-back, Ben Iroha. 🎂🎂🎂🎂,” it said.

Iroha starred for Nigeria at the 1994 and 1998 editions of the FIFA World Cup and was part of the team that won the 1994 African Nations Cup.

He made 50 appearances for Nigeria between 1990 and 1998, scoring one goal.

Most recently, Iroha was an assistant with the Nigerian U-17 team that won the 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup and head coach of Dolphins FC.

He is currently on the staff of Heartland FC of Owerri.
