Actress Omotunde Adebowale, better known as Lolo1, has defended filmmaker Funke Akindele against those criticising her for mourning their Jenifa’s Dairy co-star Jumoke Aderounmu.

Jumoke, popularly known for her role as Esther in Jenifa’s Diary, passed away on April 6.

Funke also shared her condolences and mourned the deceased in an Instagram post on Monday but the brother of the late actress Adeolu dragged the filmmaker, calling her a hypocrite.

According to him, when Jumoke was sick, she reached out to Funke several times but the Omo Ghetto star did not get back to her.

Many social media users joined Jumoke’s brother to criticise Funke.

However, Lolo who plays Adaku in the series spoke in Funke’s defence, advising the public to be careful of making accusations they know nothing about.

“May God have mercy on everyone that speaks on what they don’t know,” she wrote on Instagram.
