Lateef Adedimeji wins best actor at HAPA 2021

Actor Lateef Adedimeji has won the Best Actor award for the film Ayinla at the 2021 Hollywood and African Prestigious Award (HAPA) 2021.

The excited actor made the announcement in an Instagram post on Tuesday.

Lateef thanked the organisers of the award, filmmaker Tunde Kelani who directed the film and the entire cast and crew.

“Yo! Adedimeji Lateef geng, here’s a big one for us!!! At the Hollywood and African Prestigious Awards in Los Angeles, I won the best actor in a film and I can’t keep calm.

“You already know, don’t you?AYINLA… and again, it’s a pointer to the fact that you should never stop believing, the rain will wash the tears away and the sun will kiss our efforts, I hope you look at this and draw inspiration.

“Thank you everyone on the @hapawards , big thanks to baba mi Tunde Kelani, a big thanks to my ever gallant @jadeosiberu , thanks to all the crew and fellow casts that worked on the AYINLA movie, I don’t take this for granted…To every fan out there, this is for you, and believe me we’re not done yet.. This is just the beginning! Congratulations to every one of us,” he wrote.

Fellow celebrities such as his soon-to-be wife Mo Bimpe, Toyin Abraham, Mercy Aigbe, Stan Eze and Kehinde Bankole congratulated him in the comment section of the post.
