Actress Adebimpe Oyebade, popularly known as Mo Bimpe, has shared her experience of motherhood after welcoming her triplet boys.

In an interview with Bella Naija, she said nothing truly prepares a person for the moment they hold their child for the first time, adding that the experience became even more overwhelming for her as she held three babies at once.

She said, “I have heard people say motherhood is life changing, but nothing truly prepares you for the moment you finally hold your child in your arms. For me, it was even more overwhelming because I held not just one, but three beautiful miracles at once. In that moment, everything else faded away. The noise, the pressure, my fears, pains, the outside world… none of it mattered anymore. All I could feel was love. Pure, indescribable love.

“Looking at my babies for the first time felt like looking at pieces of my heart outside my body. Oh I cried, I smiled, I prayed silently and repeatedly thanked God for trusting me with such precious gifts.”

She said motherhood has changed her deeply, making her softer, more emotional and more appreciative of life.

The actress said, “Motherhood has softened me, made me more emotional, it has strengthened me and stretched my heart in ways I never knew were possible. It has taught me patience, deeper compassion, selflessness and a completely different kind of purpose.”

Mo Bimpe added that being a first time mother to triplets has been both challenging and beautiful, describing each day as a learning experience filled with gratitude.

She also expressed appreciation for her husband, actor Lateef Adedimeji, whom she married in December 2021, noting that the journey has made her more intentional about family, peace and purpose.

Mo Bimpe and Lateef Adedimeji announced the birth of their triplet boys earlier this month.
