Actress Funke Akindele says the ghetto in her is going nowhere.

The Omo Ghetto star said this on Instagram as she bragged about her movie getting eight nominations at the 2022 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA).

Funke was nominated for best actress in comedy category alongside Nse Ikpe-Etim, Nancy Isime, Bisola Aiyeola, Sarah Hassan and Bimbo Ademoye.

Omo Ghetto The Saga was also nominated for best movie west Africa and overall.

Other nominations include best costume designer, best actor in a comedy, best supporting actress, best picture editor, best sound editor and best make up.

Celebrating her latest achievement the mother of two posted a video of her jubilating as she expressed her excitement.

“The Ghetto in me is going nowhere. This nominations loud oo. All glory to God. Thank you so much AMVCA for these nominations,” she wrote in parts.
