Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, has shared a message aimed at creating awareness about the coronavirus pandemic.
The 42-year-old posted the message on Instagram on Sunday.
She said, “Thank you so much for the love, support…These past few weeks have been a learning curve but we must keep moving forward. My dear friends, coronavirus is real. we must continue to collaborate with the government…Maintain social distancing…”
The Jenifa’s Diary actress and her husband, singer, JJC Skillz, were on April 6 arrested for hosting a birthday party at their Lekki home in violation of the coronavirus lockdown order.
They were subsequently arraigned before a magistrate court where they plead guilty to the charges against them.
The couple was sentenced to 14 days of community service and ordered to pay a fine of N100,00 each.
