Eniola BadmusNollywood actress, Eniola Badmus, popularly known as ‘Gbogbo Bigz Girlz’, was a year older on Monday.

The University of Ibadan graduate began her acting career in 1997 and has featured in tons of movies both in the English and Yoruba genres.

To celebrate her birthday, we look at five movies that have come to define the comic actor’s career.

Jenifa

jenifaEniola Badmus made a big splash in Funke Akindele’s Jenifa. Her character in the hugely popular flick pimps young girls to rich men for money. She played the role so well that she has since acquired the sobriquet ‘Gbogbo Bigz Girlz’ with which she was tagged in the movie. She reprised the role in The Return of Jenifa.

Omo Getto

omo gettoA reunion with Funke Akindele. This time she is a larger than life tout, a role she delivered almost to perfection. Many actually believed she had a rough background in real life because of the way she acted.

Blackberry Babes

It was a switch from Yoruba to English language movie, which further garnered fans and recognition. Her crazy attitude in the movie is the one of the reasons people can’t get enough of it.
