Don Jazzy, D’banj debunk beef rumour

Music producer Don Jazzy has debunked the report that he is having a misunderstanding with pop singer D’banj.

In a video shared on Instagram Friday, the music promoter said that he is not at loggerheads with the singer and that the news about their false quarrel did not come from D’banj.

“My fellow Nigerians you people like to vex, abeg oo that post on Banga’s page is not Banga that posted it. It’s somebody else, an overzealous poster that posted it, Guys please all is well,” he said.

D’banj also debunked the news saying, “I must Greet you all Specially It wasn’t me ohhhh, the situation has been handled. Pls live your life #stresfree biko and leave me and my @donjazzy oooo.”

This comes after an Instagram user made a post comparing both celebrities.

During an interview in May 2020, Don Jazzy said he enjoyed an uncommon relationship with D’banj while they both ran Mo’Hits together.

“The way I am with people in my company like myself and D’banj, money issues didn’t occur. D’banj and I were so in sync that D’banj can go to Oba of Lagos and return with N10 million and we would still share that money.

“It doesn’t have anything to do with performance o,” he said while stating the need for record label executives to have a good relationship with their artistes.

The defunct Mo’Hits crew, which comprised Don Jazzy, D’banj, Wande Coal, Dr. Sid, K-Switch and D’Prince, parted ways in 2012 over internal disagreements.
