An indigene of Ogun State, D’banj has variously sung about being conferred with titles from different parts of the world.

His 2008 album, The Entertainer, contains the track ‘Igwe’.

The song was produced by Don Jazzy, his former partner and co-founder of Mo’ Hits with whom he was reunited on stage along with other members of the defunct label at Davido’s 30 Billion Concert in December.
