Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has been decorated with a chieftaincy title by the traditional ruler of Mgbede community in Egbema Kingdom, Rivers State, Nzeobi Amida.

This comes after Nwabali’s impressive performance at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cote d’Ivoire.

The Super Eagles got to the final but were beaten 2-1 by the host.

Nwabali’s chieftaincy title Ugo Egbema means ‘The Pride of Egbema Kingdom.’
