Awarding winning artiste, Davido, is already back home recording new music according to his manager, Asa Asika.

Two days after his big win at the 2018 BET Awards where he bagged the award for the best international act, it appears the 25-year-old isn’t resting on his laurels.

According to his manager, who was with him at the awards ceremony, Davido is back in the studios recording.

In messages posted on Twitter on Tuesday, Asika said his client is a beast.

“Later people will ask me why I work so hard. It’s because my client is a beast!!!

“Nobody can tell me jack, David won a BET award two days ago and tonight he’s at home recording some new music by himself,” he wrote.

Davido, 25, beat compatriot, Tiwa Savage; Booba from France; Cassper Nyovest of South Africa; Fally Ipupa of Congo and Stefflon Don of the United Kingdom to the BET award.

Other nominees in the best international act category were Dadju (France), Distruction Boyz (South Africa), J Hus (UK), Niska (France) and Stormzy (UK).

Davido used his acceptance speech to send condolences to D’banj who lost his son in a drowning accident on Sunday.
