Recording artiste and rapper, Olamide, has knocked the Federal Government of Nigeria, saying the people people are not happy.

Lot of Nigerians, celebrities alike have taken to social media in the last couple of days to express their anger and frustrations at the situation of things in the country as innocent citizens die every day.

The ‘Wo’ singer, in a series of post to Twitter on Tuesday, shared his frustrations saying because he sang for them during the last election doesn’t mean he won’t talk about issues plaguing the country.

“I sing for last election no mean say I no go talk when the people no de happy . Everyone is important and should be heard, this is democracy ji masun.

“Naija una try no cry abeg … Dj soon all done promise free show .. homecoming quills way .. World Cup is over let’s face the politicians Wetin be their plan as we de move fwrd so … dem say we carry World Cup for poverty how far na ???,” he wrote.

Other celebrities have implored Nigerian to get their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) to vote out corrupt leaders and urged them not to remain silent on issues that affect their everyday lives.

On Tuesday, Nollywood actress, Georgina Onuoha, berated Vice President Yemi Osinbajo after he promised those affected by recent fatal herdsmen attacks in Plateau that there will be resettlement and rehabilitation for farmers to go back to their farmlands.

Georgina condemned expressed her disappointment that Osinbajo who is also a pastor, instead of discussing security measures for future occurrences, was talking about resettlement and rehabilitation.
