21-year-old Ayra Starr has made history as the youngest Nigerian to bag a Grammy nomination.

The 66th Grammy Award nominees were announced on the official Grammy X handle on Friday.

Her hit song ‘Rush’ was nominated in the ‘Best African Music Performance’ category, making her the youngest nominee and the second Nigerian woman to be nominated for a solo Grammy after Tems.

The Bloody Samaritan star made several posts on X to celebrate her nomination.

“Ayra Grammy nominations,!!! It’s only you Jesus,” She wrote.

“I hope every single mobstarr out there is proud!! We are nominated for a Grammy,” she wrote in another post.
