Video: Zamfara governor threatens to fight Oshiomhole to the grave

Zamfara gov Abdulaziz Yari

A video of Zamfara State Governor Abdul’aziz Yari threatening the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Adams Oshiomhole is trending on social media.

Although recorded in October, the clip gained traction on Friday after it was shared online by the likes of Ovation magazine publisher Dele Momodu who has been accused of working for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The video shows Yari warning the committee sent to conduct a rescheduled APC governorship primary election in Zamfara not to step into the state.

“The committee sent by Oshiomhole to do the dirty job should never dare to come to Zamfara State again. We are ready to be taken to the graveyard tomorrow. If he knows that his father and mother born (gave birth to) him he should send those people and see. It is fight to finish,” Yari said.

Chairman of the APC panel sent to conduct the Zamfara governorship Abu Fari had said the cancellation was due to harassment and intimidation of voters and snatching of election materials by thugs sponsored by politicians.

Yari, however, dismissed the claim as false and warned its members not to step into Zamfara again.
