Filmmaker and actress Susan Peters has appealed for the return of her missing iPhone after it disappeared during the service of songs held in honour of late actor Alexx Ekubo.
Susan disclosed the incident in an Instagram post on Thursday, saying the phone went missing at The Monarch Event Centre in Lekki, Lagos, where family, friends and colleagues gathered on Wednesday to pay tribute to the actor.
According to her, the device was taken from her bag during the event.
She wrote, “Please my phone was stolen yesterday at the Monarch event center, someone just slipped their hands and took my phone from my bag . Its a white iphone 16 pro max. With my US line ,its a locked phone so its useless to whoever has it ,if you found it please return it because I have information there I cannot loose . It has my picture on the screen saver , it will be traced so dont bother selling it ooo . Cos everyone will enter trouble ,just return it please ?

The service of songs drew several Nollywood actors, gospel ministers, family members and friends. Pastor Jerry Eze and Pastor Ituah Ighodalo ministered at the gathering, while tributes were paid to Ekubo, who died on May 11 after a battle with kidney cancer.
The event was part of activities leading to the actor’s burial. His wake is scheduled for June 17 in Arochukwu, Abia State, while the funeral and interment will take place on June 18.
