Dignitaries from different walks of life graced the 25th wedding anniversary celebration of industrialist Rasaq Okoya and wife Shade in Lagos on Thursday.
The couple used the occasion to also celebrate Shade’s 47th birthday.
Opening prayer was said at 4pm before an “open house” celebration was held at Oluwanisola Estate along Lekki-Epe Expressway.
Among the attendees were the co-chairman of Eko Hospital and the Ogbeni Oja of Ijebuland Sonny Kuku; Oniru of Iru, Oba Abdulwasiu Lawal; media personality Bisi Olatilo; founder of Doyin Group of Companies, Samuel Adedoyin; and former secretary general of the Commonwealth, Emeka Anyaoku.
Also present was the Balogun of Remoland and the founder of Premier Lotto, the company many know as Baba Ijebu, Kessington Adebutu; Senator Florence Ita-Giwa; former minister of state for defence, Musiliu Obanikoro; and fashion icon, Abah Folawiyo.

Iyalode of Lagos, Bintu Tinubu; businessman Olu Okeowo and wife Lady Adejoke Okeowo were also in attendance.
Deputy Governor of Ogun State Noimot Oyedele and her husband Kashif Oyedele, real estate mogul Bosun Oredola, and wife Yinka Oredola also graced the occasion.
Shade, a mother of four, serves as director in various companies under the Eleganza Group founded by her husband.
The socialite has also been involved in philanthropic activities, such as sponsoring the Folashade Okoya Kids Cup, which held its maiden edition in December 2014 in partnership with the Lagos State Grassroots Soccer Association.
