Rasaq and Shade Okoya’s daughter Raheeda to wed Imran in Lagos

Raheeda Okoya, daughter of billionaire businessman Razaq Okoya and Shade Okoya, is set to marry Imran Gobir in Lagos on Saturday, April 25.

The wedding coincides with Mrs Okoya’s 49th birthday.

Mrs Okoya announced the engagement in an Instagram post on Friday, where she shared a video of the couple.

“The Union of Olamide Raheeda Okoya and Imran Saro Gobir,” she wrote.

She said the engagement brings together the families of Chief Razaq Okoya and Chief (Mrs.) Shade Okoya, and the families of the late Umar Saro and the late Abubakar Gobir.

“In a moment defined by grace and significance, the families… announce the engagement of their children,” she wrote.

She added that the union marks the coming together of two families with shared values.
“The engagement reflects not only a celebration of love, but the beginning of a partnership built on submission to Allah, mutual respect, and legacy,” she said.

She said both families expressed gratitude to God and prayed for the couple.
“Both families have expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for this milestone and pray for a marriage filled with peace and happiness,” she added.

Imran Gobir is the son of late Abubakar Gobir and is linked to the Saro family of Ilorin, Kwara State.

Razaq and Shade Okoya got married in 1999. They have four children, including Raheeda.
