Several pupils feared dead as Lagos school building collapses

More than 100 school pupils have been feared dead after a school building collapsed in Lagos Island on Wednesday.

The three-storey Baden School is located at Itafaji Street, near Adeniji Adele.

Sources say the building collapsed at about 10:20am on Wednesday.

Spokesperson for the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Kehinde Adebayo, has confirmed the building collapse, saying emergency officials were already at the scene.
