Deji Adeyanju resigns from OurMumuDonDo, accuses Charly Boy of betrayal

Political activist, Deji Adeyanju, has announced that he has pulled out of OurMumuDonDo movement after losing confidence in its convener, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy.

In a tweet on Wednesday morning, Mr Adeyanju said Charly Boy joined those he referred to as his ‘oppressors’ while he was in prison.

He wrote: “Dear Nigerians, ‪I have resigned my membership of OurMumuDon. I no longer have confidence in the leader of the movement, Charly Boy. He betrayed the cause while I was away in prison and compromised with the oppressors. Thank you.”

OurMumuDonDo movement has held several protests to fight for the cause of Nigerians as a civil society organisation.

Adeyanju was recently granted bail by a court in Kano after 78 days in prison, over a murder case that had seen him acquitted since 2009 by a Kano court.
