Founder of Winners’ Chapel Bishop David Oyedepo has reacted to the testimony of Daniella Owoeye, the top scorer in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Owoeye, a member of the church, spoke on Sunday during a service at Faith Tabernacle, where she shared her exam experience and how she prepared for the test.
In a video shared on TikTok, she also spoke about her interaction with Bishop Oyedepo and how she combined her studies with religious practices.
Daniella scored 372 out of 400 in the examination conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and was announced as the highest scorer earlier this month.
She is from Ekiti State and applied to study Medicine and Surgery at the University of Lagos (UNILAG).
Reacting to her testimony, Oyedepo said her performance was linked to what he described as commitment to “kingdom alignment prayers” and dedication to church activities.
“She knew how to pray kingdom alignment prayers and how to commit herself to the things of God and God came and exalted her,” he said.
Before the UTME result, Daniella had shared details about her preparation, saying she focused on past questions and identified weak areas during her study.
“I didn’t just study hard, I was smart with it,” she wrote on social media.
Her result showed 98 in English Language, 98 in Chemistry, 94 in Physics and 82 in Biology.
The testimony video drew reactions online, with some users praising her communication skills and others attributing her success to both study and preparation.
Daniella was earlier announced as Nigeria’s top UTME candidate at the 2026 policy meeting on admissions to tertiary institutions in Abuja.
She attended EFVP Wisdom Spring Model School and currently lives in Ogun State.
