2026 UTME highest scorer Daniella Owoeye

Indigene of Ekiti State Daniella Owoeye emerged as the highest scorer in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), after scoring 372 out of 400.

She was named at the 2026 policy meeting on admissions to tertiary institutions held in Abuja by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board.

Owoeye sat for the examination in Ogun State. She has chosen to study Medicine and Surgery at the University of Lagos.

Her result shows 98 in English Language, 98 in Chemistry, 94 in Physics and 82 in Biology.

Her score placed her at the top of candidates released by the examination body.

After the announcement, her result circulated on social media, with messages of recognition shared across platforms including X, Facebook and Instagram.

A tutorial platform, DailyEd Online Tutorials, said Owoeye was among its students and noted that she recorded the highest score from its candidates in the examination cycle.

The organisation also said it produced over 200 candidates who scored above 300 in the same examination.

Owoeye’s name was listed alongside other top candidates, including Kingsley Ikenna, who scored 370 and Ayomide Emmanuel, who scored 369.

Other candidates on the list recorded scores between 367 and 368 across different institutions and courses such as computer science, engineering and related programmes.

Daniella Owoeye’s performance places her among the top candidates in recent UTME cycles and reflects outcomes of national examinations used for admission into tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
