Apostle Selman donates N200m, food items to Plateau attack victims

Apostle Joshua Selman

Founder of Eternity Network International, also known as Koinonia Global, Apostle Joshua Selman has donated N200 million and food items to victims of recent attacks in Plateau State.

Apostle Selman made the donation during a visit to Government House, Jos, where he met with Governor Caleb Mutfwang on Wednesday.

He said the visit was to identify with the people and support families affected by the attacks.

“As part of our intervention, we are donating relief materials and financial support to assist victims and affected families,” he said.

Selman said the items include about 3,000 bags of rice and other supplies to be distributed in affected communities in partnership with the state government and the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).

“These palliatives may not bring back the dead, but they can bring comfort to grieving families and demonstrate love and responsibility,” he said.

He called for collective effort in addressing the crisis, saying everyone has a role to play.

“It would be unfair to do nothing. We must all contribute in our own way to bring relief and restore hope,” he added.

Responding, Governor Mutfwang thanked Selman for the support and said the visit showed solidarity with the state.

He said the government had also supported both Christian and Muslim families affected by the attacks.

“We deliberately reached out to affected Muslim families as a demonstration of our love for humanity. Plateau belongs to all of us,” he said.

The governor called on residents and indigenes to work together to maintain peace and unity in the state.

He also said efforts were ongoing to prevent further attacks and urged citizens to remain hopeful.

“The preservation of Plateau is a collective responsibility,” he added.
