The Orangun of Oke-Ila, Oba Adedokun Abolarin, is mourning his wife, Olori Solape Abolarin, who died last week Tuesday.

Taking to Facebook on Tuesday, the grieving monarch shared heartfelt tributes and photos of his late wife, describing her as a radiant and selfless woman who touched many lives.

“My beautiful ABAKE, your radiance shone brightly, inside and out, a reflection of the beauty of your soul,” he wrote.

“You touched countless lives with your selfless service to humanity and devotion to God. Your legacy lives on, a testament to the love and impact you shared with everyone around you. I’m forever grateful for the time we had together. Your memory will continue to inspire me, and I cherish the love we shared. Rest in peace, my dear. ASOLA.”

Last week, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke extended his condolences to the monarch in a statement issued by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed.

“I extend my heartfelt condolences to the Orangun of Oke-Ila, Oba Adedokun Omoniyi Abolarin, on the passage of his beloved wife, Olori Solape Christianah Abolarin,” the governor said.

“I sympathise with the family and the people of Oke-Ila for the loss of a mother to many and a beacon of humility.”

Also reacting last week, media personality and former presidential aspirant Dele Momodu described the late Olori as a rare gem.

“We lost a rare gem, our unforgettable Olori Solape Christianah Abolarin, the compassionate Queen of Oke-Ila Orangun in Osun State,” he wrote on Instagram.

“May your beautiful soul rest in peace. May God almighty console our phenomenal King Oba Adedokun Abolarin Aroyinkeye I and the good people of Oke-Ila Orangun.”

Olori Solape is survived by her husband and their only son, Tadenikawo Abolarin.
