Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has announced a free concert in Osogbo that will feature his son Adebayo Adeleke, popularly known as B-Red.
The governor disclosed this on Wednesday in a post on his X handle, stating that the event will include music acts from within and outside the state.
“Osun, this free concert is for each and every one of you. I am delighted to have my son @B_RedHKN, his friends in the entertainment industry, and upcoming musical acts from across Osun bringing the vibes home!” he said.
A poster shared by the governor listed performers expected at the concert, including Peruzzi, CDQ, Fido, Shina Peters, May D and Sina Rambo.
Governor Adeleke said the concert is open to all residents, regardless of political affiliation.
“This Get Out to Vote Concert is for everyone in Osun State – Accord, ADC, APC, LP, PDP – no political divide,” he said.
The event will be held at the Technical Field in Osogbo on Friday, April 24, with free entry for residents.
He urged residents to attend.
“Come out, groove, and let your voice count!” he said.
The announcement comes hours after the governor appointed his nephew David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, as head of youth mobilisation for his re-election campaign ahead of the 2026 governorship election in the state.
Davido confirmed the appointment in a post on X on Tuesday.
Political activities have begun in Osun as parties prepare for the governorship election scheduled for August 8.
