A male student of a Nigerian university has been filmed assaulting a lady after she reportedly broke up with him shortly after he allegedly gave her N20,000 for school fee.
The video, which has gone viral on social media, shows the young man first assaulting the girl identified simply as Jane, in a lecture room.
The young man dressed in a blue shirt with stripes is then seen continuing his assault on her outside the lecture room as he screams: “Jane, where is my money?”
Fellow students try to intervene but are unsuccessful as many of them, particularly males, appear to be in support of the man.
Another man tries to fight for Jane but is held back by a group of boys.
The incident is said to have occurred at Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Abia state.
