Ibrahim Lawan, son of Senate President Ahmad Lawan, has taken a wife, Amani Umar.
The wedding ceremony, according to a tweet by Lawan, is expected to be ongoing in Kano.

“I have the honour and privilege to invite you to the wedding Fatiha of my son, Ibrahim Ahmad Lawan and his heartthrob, Amani Bala Umar,” Lawan tweeted on Christmas Eve.
The wedding is expected to be attended by top government officials and politicians.
