Singer, Olawale Ashimi, popularly known as Brymo, has declared himself Nigeria’s artiste of the decade.

The 33-year-old set social media on fire on Friday when he declared via a tweet that he was Nigeria’s artiste of the decade.

He added that Ice Prince’s 2010 hit song ‘Oleku’ which featured him was the biggest Afrobeat song ever.

Brymo also said that his own song ‘Ara’ released in 2012 is Nigeria’s biggest song.

“I’m Nigeria’s Artiste of The Decade. Oleku was the right to express deeply, and the biggest Afrobeats song ever..an honor it was my voice. S/o @Iceprincezamani. Ara is bigger than any other song in Nigeria since its release and I curated ‘the alternative,’” he said.

Brymo has been under the radar for some time in the music industry.

Signed on to Bail Entertainment after a controversial departure from Chocolate City, the singer has six studio albums under his belt.
