Actress Christabel Egbanya has received a brand new car from her husband Mark Onumajulu as her wedding present.
The newly showed off the gift in a video shared on her Instagram account on Tuesday in which she expressed gratitude to those who attended the event.
Christabel noted that she would have penned an appreciation message earlier but she did not because Junior Pope and four other film practitioners died the next day.
Christabel also thanked her husband for the gift.
She wrote: “It’s exactly one week today I had the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony 💍 with my lovely husband, I couldn’t appreciate everyone that came from far and wide to celebrate us immediately after the occasion due to the circumstances of what happened the next day I couldn’t reach out immediately, but I still have to take this little opportunity to appreciate all those that came to celebrate me now that I’m alive may God bless you guys and grant all your heart desires, for those expecting this same joy that I’m sharing now, may God grant it all to you immensely, your coming means a whole lot to me and my hubby, we really appreciate and may bad news never come around you and your household in Jesus name 🙏 and to my wonderful husband thank you for the wonderful gift you got for me on our wedding day, may God continue to bless .”
Christabel and Mark got married legally at a marriage registry in Enugu on January 25.
In April 2021, the mother of one dismissed rumours that she welcomed a child with fellow actor Yul Edochie after many assumed she was Yul’s second wife Judy Austin at the time.
The actress and her husband welcomed their first child in April 2021.
