Lagos orders full reopening of churches, mosques

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has directed that worship centres can operate fully.

The governor announced this during a briefing on Saturday, although cautioned that safety protocols must be strictly adhered to.

Mr Sanwo-Olu said mosques can hold their prayers five times daily while churches can also commence weekly services.

Lagos State Government had ordered the partial re-opening of worship centres on August 7 after they had been shut for months due to COVID-19.
