Lagos’ head of service, Muri-Okunola, clocks 48

The 21st Head of Service (HoS) of Lagos State, Hakeem Muri-Okunola, has clocked 48.

Mr Muri-Okunola was appointed on December 29, 2018, and sworn in two days later by former Governor Akinwunmi Ambode at the Lagos House, Alausa, Ikeja.

Lagos State Government celebrated the lawyer and public administrator on Tuesday via a tweet.

In 2003, Muri-Okunola became personal assistant to ex-governor Bola Tinubu; while in 2005, he became the Executive Secretary to the Governor on Land Use and Allocation Committee.

In 2011, when he was just 39 years old, Muri-Okunola became permanent secretary in the same land ministry, and was until his appointment as HoS, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Youth and Social Development.
