Former President Goodluck Jonathan has congratulated Olusegun Obasanjo on his 82nd birthday.
In a tweet on Tuesday, Mr Jonathan wrote that Obasanjo has been a great asset to the country. He wished him strength and good health.
“Baba, I rejoice with you today on the occasion of your 82nd birthday. Indeed, you have been a great asset to our nation and your service to humanity has been exemplary. May God continue to bless you with strength & good health even as you enjoy more glorious years on earth,” Jonathan wrote.
Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, and Senate President, Bukola Saraki, had also sent their congratulatory messages to the former president.
