I’m blessed, Saraki says on wife’s 56th birthday

Former Senate President Bukola Saraki on Sunday celebrated his wife Toyin as she clocked 56.

Saraki wrote on Twitter that he was blessed to have Toyin in his life.

“Happy birthday, @ToyinSaraki. You’re a shining light and I’m blessed to have you in my life. I pray you have an amazing year,” he wrote.

Commenting on her birthday on Instagram, Mrs Saraki said she was spending time with some of her favourite people.

She wrote: “Thank you for the birthday wishes. I am overjoyed to read all of your messages and cherish each one of them. I am so humbled to have such devoted friends and fans, and am starting my day with some of my favourite people.”

Toyin Saraki was born into the Ojora and Adele royal families of Lagos, as the daughter of Yoruba aristocrat Adekunle Ojora, the Otunba of Lagos.

She has four children with her husband.
