Nollywood actor Musa Ibrahim has spoken about how his role in the 2007 horror film 666 affected his life.

Musa, in an interview with Lucky Udu, said the production was not an ordinary project and claimed it came with personal consequences after filming ended.

“The movie 666 wasn’t an ordinary movie,” he said.

He said his health and life took a difficult turn shortly after the film, adding that he was involved in an accident that kept him in hospital for a long period.

“After the movie, I had an accident and was hospitalized for nearly two years. For you to expose the devil, it’s not an easy task. Viewers just watch movies, but we, the actors, experience the repercussions firsthand. After that movie, I went through a lot,” he added.

Musa said the experience changed how he viewed roles involving spiritual themes, noting that such projects could have lasting effects beyond acting.

The film 666 (Beware the End Is at Hand) was released in 2007 and directed by Ugo Ugbor under Global Update Pictures. It is a Nigerian horror film that explores religious and supernatural themes.

The cast included Emeka Ani, Bob Emmanuel Anosike, Fred Ariko, Kenneth Chukwu, Clem Ohameze, Ify Okeke, Sandra Phillips, Kenneth Okonkwo and Musa Ibrahim.
