Actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has revealed some of the challenges during her makeup transformation while filming her hit series She Must Be Obeyed.
The series which premiered on Amazon Prime last month, is focused on the music industry and quest for fame. Funke’s character in the film suffered from a disease that causes hair loss which affected her physical appearance.
Speaking on the challenges of her transformation in an Instagram post on Thursday, the mother of twins said wearing the makeup was exhausting and she was so tired.
The 46-year-old also thanked the makeup artist Hakeem Effect for a job well done.
“@hakeemeffect well done!! You killed the SFX. It was so exhausting wearing this make up. I was so tired but glad it came out great. A big thank you to the cast and crew of #shemustbeobeyed We did a great job. God bless us all,” she wrote.

The series features Funke Akindele as the lead character, Nancy Isime, Lateef Adedimeji, Okon Lagos, Akah Nnani, Patience Ozokwo, Michael Ezuruonye, Rachael Okonkwo, IK Ogbonna Waje and Big Brother Naija star Vee.
