Don Jazzy sympathises with woman Pastor Paul Enenche accused of lying during testimony

Music executive Don Jazzy has sympathised with a woman whom Pastor Paul Eneche, senior pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre accused of lying during her testimony.

The woman whose name is Anyim Vera, was confronted by Paul Eneche during her testimony on Sunday after she claimed to be the first graduate in her family with a BSc in law from the National Open University.

As she expressed gratitude to God, Pastor Enenche interrupted and pointed out that there’s no such degree as a BSc in law, casting doubt on her testimony. Nigerians took to social media to react, with some expressing disappointment at the cleric for embarrassing her publicly and others criticising the woman for purportedly lying on the altar.

As doubts about the woman’s graduation heightened, a Facebook post by Vera, announcing her graduation from the National Open University with pictures surfaced online.

Weighing in on the matter in an Instagram post on Sunday night, Don Jazzy who drummed support for the woman, stated that it is possible she lost her confidence due to stage fright.

He wrote: “People need to understand that not everyone has the superpower to stand on a huge stage with a microphone to address a large crowd. Stage fright is real. Your nerves will F u up. You can even forget your name sometimes sef. I feel for her sha.”
