Deyemi Okanlawon to join Funke Akindele, others in Dubai for Omo Ghetto premiere

Nollywood actor Deyemi Okanlawon has said he will be joining Funke Akindele and several others in Dubai for the premiere of Omo Ghetto The Saga.

The University of Lagos graduate shared a video of himself admonishing fans to get their tickets ready in an Instagram post on Wednesday.

 “UAE… see you soon! #omoghettothesaga,” he wrote.

Funke, her husband Abdulrasheed Bello, professionally known as JJC Skillz, and their twin boys are also in Dubai.

They both shared pictures of themselves at KIZA Dubai, a pan-African restaurant on Instastories.

On Tuesday Alexx Ekubo and Chioma Akpotha travelled to Dubai.

Omo Ghetto The Saga will make history when it becomes the first Nigerian movie to premiere in the United Arab Emirates on January 21.

It was premiered in Nigeria on December 25 and has grossed N373milllion in three weeks according to the Cinema Exhibitors Association of Nigeria (CEAN).

The prequel Omo Ghetto was released in 2010 starring Funke Akindele, Rachel Oniga, Taiwo Hassan, Yinka Quadri, and Eniola Badmus.
